Job Opportunity: Secondary Behaviour Co-Lead (Maternity Cover)
Working hours: 3 days a week (Wednesday to Friday), 8:30am – 5:00pm
Start date: November 2025
Contract length: 6 to 12 months

We are looking for someone experienced in supporting secondary pupils with social, emotional, and communication needs. You will work alongside our Secondary Behaviour Lead to cover maternity leave.
Our school uses a caring, child-focused approach to behaviour. We follow therapeutic methods including restorative justice and trauma-aware practices.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience leading behaviour support for children and young people with complex needs
* Ability to support and guide staff in managing behaviour
* Willingness to work with different teams to create policies, provide training, and manage behaviour data
* Good understanding of behaviour strategies and therapeutic approaches (like the neuro-sequential model, PACE, and restorative practices)
* Background in teaching, therapy, or behaviour management is a plus
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Patience, friendliness, and ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, parents, and other professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
