Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a Bank Nurse to join our award-winning team at Marula Lodge. Marula Lodge provides high-quality services to up to 42 residents across 4 specialised units supporting residents with complex care needs, while providing a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. We are currently rated GOOD by CQC.
What do you need?
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
* Experience working with adults with complex needs, including challenging behaviours and mental health issues (desirable)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, forming positive relationships with colleagues, residents, and families
* A caring and empathetic approach to residents and visitors
* Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
What hours will you work?
* Day shifts: 07:45 to 20:15 (11.5 hours)
* Night shifts: 20:15 to 07:45 (11.5 hours)
What will you be doing?
* Assessing, planning, and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
* Participating in clinical meetings and reporting concerns to managers
* Overseeing care provided by Health Care Assistants on shift, ensuring proper documentation

All Bank employees are required to attend a 5-day paid induction prior to starting employment. The induction runs Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 16:30. Please consider this if you are employed elsewhere full-time, as attendance is mandatory.

About Us
Cornerstone Healthcare provides specialist care for vulnerable individuals with challenging behaviours related to complex neurodegenerative and mental health conditions.
Residents typically have neurological degenerative conditions such as Dementia compounded by mental health issues, making them unsuitable for standard dementia or elderly residential care homes.
We currently operate three services in Waterlooville, Curdridge, and Mytchett, with two new services opening in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025.
