GI Group are seeking an experienced Estates professional for our public sector client in Worksop.
As Estates Campus Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the college’s estate – owning the day‑to‑day operation of the campus while also taking centre stage as the Group’s lead for Procurement and Contract Management, shaping how key services and contracts are delivered across all sites.
What you’ll do:
* Manage the "look and feel" of the campus, ensuring it is safe, welcoming and fit for learning.
* Lead procurement and contract management across the Group, driving value for money and strong supplier performance.
* Lead the on‑site estates team (including Caretakers and Cleaning Supervisors/Cleaners).
* Plan and oversee maintenance, repairs, capital and minor works.
* Take a lead role in compliance, audits, statutory testing, COSHH and health & safety.
* Oversee emergency procedures, including lockdowns and PEEPs.
* Track carbon, water and waste data and support environmental and sustainability initiatives.
* Act as a key point of contact for contractors, local community, planning authorities and utility providers.
You’ll have:
* Estates/facilities management experience, ideally within the education sector
* Managed large, diverse teams and implemented policies and procedures
* Confident carrying out audits and inspections to keep the site safe and compliant
* Experience in procurement and contract management, including SLAs and supplier relationships
* Hold Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths
* Hold a facilities management qualification and be confident with Microsoft Windows, Office 365 and internal systems
* Hold (or be willing to work towards) a procurement qualification – support will be provided
