An fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Ecommerce team and we are looking for a Ecommerce Assistant to join us at Bettys Bakery where we create our wonderful Bettys products which we sell in our branches and online. As a Ecommerce Assistant you will assist in coordinating seasonal product launches, update product pages, ensuring categories are correctly merchandised and content is accurate, optimised and engaging. Using CMS platforms (including Magento, Nosto, Klevu) and HTML to update site content on a regular basis and under the guidance of the CX Manager build, test and send marketing emails following best practices and briefs provided by the Digital Marketing Manager. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours over 5 days. If you would like to discuss flexible working please provide more details in your application. Key reponsibilities will be: Assist with seasonal launches online – collating product information and ensuring content is presented correctly for timely launches. Using HTML to make changes to the site, using the CMS to upload and edit online content. Assist in briefing photography requirements, sourcing copy, uploading to Magento, editing against FIR updates and the ongoing status of live/rested products. Assist in the building of marketing emails using prebuilt templates with the support of the CX Manager and in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager. Assist in the testing of bugs, tickets, sprints and releases when required. Ensure products are correctly set up on the website, regularly editing existing and adding new products to the website as required, including image optimisation. Improve our search engine rankings by optimising our meta titles and descriptions on the website, including ad hoc SEO audit actions. About you We don't expect you to have experience in Ecommerce but we do expect you to have a passion for digital and enthusiasm to progress in an online career. You will need to be a self-starter with a motivation for continuous improvement and a drive to learn, have inquisitive mindset, be effective at prioritising and achieving deadlines and finally be hands-on with a key eye for detail. You should have experience of working with Microsoft Office packages.
