Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging sports programmes, fostering teamwork, and encouraging participants of all ages to achieve their personal best. Duties
* Plan and deliver coaching sessions across various sports, tailored to different age groups and skill levels
* Organise training drills, competitions, and recreational activities that promote skill development and enjoyment
* Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their improvement
* Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines during activities
* Foster a positive team environment by encouraging sportsmanship, respect, and fair play
* Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is clean, organised, and ready for use
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop new programmes and improve existing coaching methods
* Manage trialist and increase membership of children accessing our classes, speaking to both past and present customers to help increase numbers and provide growth to the business
Experience
* Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching within a similar environment
* Strong knowledge of various sports rules, techniques, and training methods
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants effectively
* Previous experience working with diverse age groups is desirable
* Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential; willingness to undertake training is expected
* Customer relationships and management is a vital part of this role to provide sustainability to the to role.

This position is temporary to start with however for the right person who is willing to be proactive, passionate and the drive to succeed this could move to a more permanent position within the company.

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
