Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Leisure Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor to support, guide, and assess apprentices working towards qualifications in the leisure industry. You will be responsible for delivering engaging learning, carrying out workplace assessments, and helping learners develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to succeed in their roles.

* Level 2 Leisure Team Member
* Level 2 Community Activator Coach
* Level 3 Leisure Duty Manager
* Level 3 Personal Trainer
* Level 3 Community Sport and Health Officer
* Level 3 Team Leader
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess apprenticeship programmes in leisure and related disciplines.
* Support apprentices in developing their professional knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
* Deliver functional skills in English and Maths where required.
* Provide engaging coaching sessions (face-to-face and online).
* Track learner progress, complete documentation, and ensure timely achievement of qualifications.
* Maintain strong employer relationships to support workplace learning and development.
* Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA).
Essential Requirements
* Recognised Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/D33).
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
* Occupational competence and experience within the leisure sector.
* Proven experience delivering and assessing apprenticeships.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
* Passionate about developing others and promoting best practice in leisure.
* Drivers license and own transport.
Desirable
* Experience with Level 2–3 apprenticeships in leisure, fitness, or activity leadership.
* Leisure Industry qualifications such as Gym Instructor, Personal Trainer, Swim Teacher, NPLQ, First Aid at Work, Managing Pool Operations.
* Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and Ofsted/ESFA requirements.
* Experience delivering functional skills at level 2 for Maths and English.

In addition to your salary we offer a performance based bonus that is paid monthly. You will receive 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and as an extra benefit you will also get your birthday off work.
Our head office is based in Bridlington, however we are a national apprenticeship provider so will consider applicants from any geographical location in England. There will be a requirement to travel to the office several times a year for team meetings and standardisation training. Regular travel to learner placements will be an essential part of the role and expenses will be paid.
