Introduction
We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist (Band 8a) within Critical Care to join the Therapies Directorate at the University Hospital of North Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate clinical development and extend the scope of current practice with the aim of delivering highest quality evidence-based care.
* Generate new research opportunities and implement up‑to‑date evidence‑based practice.
* Enhance the ongoing training and education framework of a large therapy team to ensure an optimum learning environment for staff and students.
* Represent the organisation at a national networking level, influencing service development and marketing our service to key stakeholders.
* Support the development of respiratory and rehabilitation skills within a highly motivated multidisciplinary team.
* Work under supervision from Principal Therapists and peer supervision.

* May require some out of hours working.
