Global Trade Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this key role in our organisation. This full-time position combines critical responsibilities in Global Trade compliance and operations with the opportunity to develop project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records, provide clearance instructions, manage copy entries, amendments, and freight forwarder charges, and identify correct HTS/Commodity codes.
* Manage import records and conduct audits, discharge IPR, support scrap processes, and maintain quarterly filings with HMRC.
* Produce export documentation, manage SAP export transactions, clear export blocks, book shipments, ensure compliance with licence/end-user checks, and manage ATA carnet and freight forwarder charges.
* Maintain accurate records for MK Denial checks, travel permits, site visits, and tech data transfers.
* Deploy and track Global Trade policies and procedures.
* Support annual audits, self-audits, and regulatory inspections (ECJU, HMRC, etc.).
* Support communication of policy changes, training, and awareness activities.
* Provide assistance to other functions.
Project Management Skills:
* Support experienced Programme Managers in managing complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
* Assist in tracking project costs, budgets, and timelines.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules and work plans.
* Help prepare and deliver updates to internal and external stakeholders.
* Support bid/proposal coordination and submission.
* Assist in capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices for continuous improvement.
