The International Prime Video & Studios Consumer Insights team is looking for a highly motivated, French‑speaking Researcher to lead customer‑focused primary research projects. You’ll work on a team that connects our creative leaders with our customers throughout their viewing journey. You will work closely with Data Science, Productions, Development, Marketing and Finance teams, always making sure to represent the voice of our customers. This role will allow you to develop insights that help break new series on our service, maintain strong performance and make a real impact for our customers.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Identify appropriate methodologies based on business and research objectives
* Partner with the internal Panel Operations team to program and deploy research projects with Amazon Prime Video customers
* Work closely with vendors to ensure successful execution of research projects
* Lead strategic research using primary, secondary and syndicated data sources
* Accurately represent and advocate for the Prime Video customer in all analysis and meetings
* Take ownership of research studies end to end
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in areas such as market research, statistics, finance or qualitative/quantitative research
* Experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
* Experience analyzing large datasets and communicating findings to stakeholders and senior leaders
* Bachelors degree, or experience driving internal cross‑team collaboration
* Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages and presentations
* Fluency in speaking, writing and reading French
* Demonstrated applied knowledge across the core phases of the market research cycle: awareness, targeting, acquisition and retention
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience on the research vendor side or within the research group of a media company
* Knowledge of the television and media industry
* Experience leading different types of viewer studies such as episode testing, dial testing, concept testing, series maintenance
* Experience leading studies across various methodologies: online quantitative surveys, focus groups, 1:1, ethnos, online qualitative research, mobile
* Experience with various statistical techniques (regression analysis, coefficient correlation)
