Commercial Technology Senior Associate | 7+ PQE | Bristol
This Bristol-based boutique firm advises ambitious, technology-rich businesses across their growth journey, from scale-up and investment through to acquisition and exit. Commercial technology sits at the centre of that story, not on the sidelines.
You would advise on SaaS and software agreements, technology licences, outsourcing, data protection and IT security, often in the context of live transactions and strategic expansion. The work is commercially driven and closely aligned with the firm’s corporate practice, meaning you see the bigger picture rather than isolated contracts.
The team is deliberately lean. As a senior associate, you are front-facing with clients, supervising juniors and playing a visible role in shaping the practice. Influence comes before partnership, not years after it.
The culture is pragmatic and low ego. Clients value direct access to experienced lawyers who understand their commercial objectives. Internally, there is less hierarchy and more opportunity to contribute to strategy and direction.
