Overview
TipTopJob is a national brand with an excellent reputation working with a Tier 1 contractor based in Bristol. The role supports projects across Bristol, South Wales, South West England (down to Exeter and Plymouth) in education, public sector, leisure and commercial markets.
Responsibilities
* Early involvement at tender and bid stages, working with estimating and commercial teams.
* Conduct detailed forensic investigations into schemes and key packages to identify opportunities and potential issues.
* Create detailed input for tender and bid packages, and manage information flow between client, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
* Lead framework schemes and take the design from tender through to contract award and site construction.
* Manage design implementation on site with project managers, delivery teams and subcontractors.
* Take responsibility for managing RFIs, change process, CDM regulations and related documentation through to handover and commissioning.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Design Manager on a Tier 1 or larger contractor for schemes above £10 million.
* Familiarity with design‑and‑build (D&B) projects and framework negotiations.
* Excellent work practices, attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to identify opportunities and potential issues in complex projects.
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
