About Our Client

This is a not-for-profit organisation operating within the Company Secretarial department, known for its commitment to impactful initiatives. It is a leading higher education provider with a number of subsidiaries including charity subsidiaries.

Job Description

The Temp Governance Manager - Charity will be part of the small subsidiary focused company secretarial team. They will:

3. Ensure governance structures and processes are maintained in line with organisational policies.
4. Provide administrative support to the C-Suite team for governance-related activities.
5. Provide end to end company secretarial support to the subsidiaries.
6. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and relevant documentation for board and committees.
7. Monitor compliance with internal and external regulations.
8. Support the drafting and updating of governance frameworks and policies.
9. Collaborate with stakeholders to address governance queries and issues.
10. Maintain accurate records of governance activities and decisions.
11. Contribute to projects aimed at improving governance practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temp Governance Manager - Charity should have:

12. A background in governance / company secretarial, or a related field within the not-for-profit sector in the UK.
13. Ideally have charity governance experience.
14. Subsidiary management experience.
15. CGI qualification is desired but not essential.
16. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
17. Experience in meeting cycle management - preparing and managing meeting documentation.
18. Knowledge of governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
19. Must have right to work in the UK.

What's on Offer

The Temp Governance Manager - Charity will be required for approximately 4 months.

20. A daily rate of up to approximately £400, depending on experience.
