We are looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our friendly team providing accountancy to a number of clients across various business sectors.
As a Senior Accountant your role will involve:
* Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
* Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues.
* Review of junior accounts staff work and completion for client.
* Management accounts.
* Having a portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns to complete each year.
* Supporting and guiding junior staff.
* Answer ad hoc client queries via telephone/email.
The ideal Senior Accountant will have:
* Experience of Iris, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
* Extensive tax knowledge of all areas of personal and corporate taxation.
* The Ablity to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
* A Friendly and confident manner.
* Experience working as part of a team and alone.
* A track record working to tight deadlines and unsupervised.
* 5 years experience within an Accountancy practice.
