Finance Assistant (6-Month FTC) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Based in Holborn
Hybrid - 2 days in office/ 3 days remote
6-Month Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced live events business. Working closely with the Finance Lead and wider UK finance team, you will support day-to-day finance operations including invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations and reporting across multiple festivals.
Candidates must be available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Processing invoices for operational costs and managing weekly payment runs
Processing artist and talent invoices and coordinating associated payment runs
Maintaining AP & AR ledgers, including supplier statement reconciliations
Investigating and resolving invoicing discrepancies promptly
Sharing remittance advice with suppliers and partners
Performing bank reconciliations
Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
Assisting with reporting into the Group consolidation system
Managing overseas withholding tax matters relating to artists and talent
Supporting accurate financial reporting and data integrity
Collaborating with finance and operational teams across the businessSkills & Experience
1 year minimum experience maintaining an AP ledger
AAT Level 4 qualified or qualified by experience
Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Confident working across teams in a fast-paced environment
Experience using Xero is desirable
Experience within hospitality, entertainment or events is beneficial
Be available for 2 weeks at the end of Aug to attend the festival siteThe Opportunity
