Team Leader

An opportunity has arisen for an Admin Team Leader within the Imaging Dept at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.
This is a 3 day post working between Monday - Friday, 8.30am-5pm.
The post holder will work closely with the Imaging Admin Team, the clinical teams within Imaging and the Senior Management Team.
Main duties of the job
* Assist in the operational management of the Administration and Clerical team daily, implementing administrative processes to ensure accurate data quality throughout all Information Systems.
* Provide comprehensive support to the Consultant Radiologists ensuring a high level of tact and diplomacy as well as strict adherence to the rules of confidentiality.
* To support the Assistant Service Managers with data validation, chronology, work streams and processes, to deliver the agreed national and departmental targets.
* To have an understanding of a wide range of work procedures required within the Imaging Departments.
* The post holder may be expected to work across sites within the Trust if necessary

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* Good level of education/GCSE or equivalent
* Good understanding of windows applications and MS office
* Good organisational and administrative skills
* NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
* Understanding of current NHS information systems
Occupational Experience
* Previous experience of managing a team of staff
* Evidence of effective communication skills
