CONTENT CREATOR – JOB DESCRIPTION Full-time | Eastbourne (37.5 hours – Mon-Fri 8:30am – 5:00pm) Salary: Competitive, based on experience Our client is growing and we’re looking for a creative, organised and proactive Content Creator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering the PR and marketing for a leading retail client. You’ll spend time both in our office and onsite, capturing content, building stories and helping shape how thousands of local people experience it across social media, through live events and ongoing creative campaigns. About the role As Content Creator, you’ll work closely with our Senior Account Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, reporting to our Account Director. Your focus will be creating engaging, high-quality content that drives community engagement, increases footfall and supports commercial goals. You’ll also contribute to content and social activity for a small number of B2B clients, supporting our Digital Marketing Manager with planning, scheduling and SEO-focused activity. What you’ll be doing Main focus · Creating social-ready content including photography, videography, short-form edits, graphics and written posts · Generating fresh, on-the-ground imagery and video assets to support campaigns, events and retailer activity · Managing and growing social channels (primarily Facebook and Instagram, with TikTok to be introduced) · Writing content across PR, case studies, e-shots, blog content and community updates · Supporting strategic campaign planning for centre promotions, seasonal activity, and community events · Planning and executing visual campaign material · Engaging directly with the local community, retailers and partners to build a vibrant online presence · Assisting with PR and media outreach · Monitoring and reporting on channel performance, engagement and campaign outcomes · Working closely with the client to ensure smooth delivery of campaigns and collaborative communication For the wider client base · Supporting social media planning, scheduling and creative development · Producing content for B2B clients across LinkedIn, websites and digital channels · Assisting with SEO content creation where needed What we’re looking for · Strong photography and videography skills, with experience shooting for social media · Confident creating quick, engaging short form edits for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok · Excellent writing skills for social posts, PR, blogs and community updates · A creative eye and ability to translate campaign themes into visual content · Experience managing social channels and using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite or similar · Comfortable engaging with the public, retailers and partners · Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects · A proactive mindset, able to spot content opportunities and bring ideas to life · Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing best practice (desirable) · Experience working in a marketing, prior retail-focused environment (desirable) What we offer · The chance to work on one of Eastbourne’s most high-profile destinations · A family-run, friendly team with a supportive and collaborative culture · Central Eastbourne location – 1 minute from town centre, 5 minutes to the beach · Opportunities to develop skills in PR, digital marketing, content production and campaign management · Opportunity to opt-in to the company pension scheme (after 3-months employment) · Healthcare benefits (after 6-months employment) · On-site parking on a rota basis
