We have an opportunity to join DARAY Limited, an internationally recognised manufacturer specialising in high-quality Medical and Dental Lighting equipment.
Due to continued company growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Sales Advisor.
This role combines technical expertise with consultative sales skills to support healthcare professionals and distributors in selecting innovative lighting solutions that improve clinical performance, surgical outcomes, staff wellbeing, and energy efficiency within medical environments.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers across NHS Trusts, private hospitals, independent clinics, and national/international medical distributors
* Provide expert technical guidance on surgical and examination lighting solutions, tailored to clinical and budgetary requirements
* Prepare and deliver professional quotations, proposals, and tender submissions
* Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive account management and new business development
* Collaborate with internal departments to support strategic marketing initiatives and increase brand awareness
* Monitor order progression and provide timely updates to customers
* Take ownership of customer projects and order fulfilment, escalating issues where required to ensure exceptional service delivery
* Liaise closely with customers throughout the sales and delivery process, ensuring excellent communication at all stages
Customer service and service delivery are integral to the company’s success. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple departments to ensure the smooth progression of orders and projects from enquiry through to completion.
About You
This position would suit someone with previous experience in a technical sales environment who is highly organised, motivated, and eager to learn within a supportive and professional team environment.
You will enjoy problem solving, managing multiple projects, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction while working both independently and collaboratively.
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex product specifications, lighting technologies, and clinical applications
* Previous experience within a technical sales or consultative sales role
* Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills
* Hands-on and proactive “can-do” attitude
* Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
* Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Professional and confident telephone manner
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
* Fluent written and spoken English essential
* Additional language skills would be advantageous but are not essential
