The technology solutions that Deloitte can provide to clients are varied and can be integrated with our robotics and consulting teams. You will work within the Delivery team led by a Project Manager, with Business Analysts, Developers and Solution Architects and a Test Manager to develop and document the appropriate Test Approach, Strategy and Plan to ensure that the solution is tested effectively. Our solutions will provide efficient user interfaces, automated workflow processing, and data integration services between our systems and others, with your team Testing them. You will engage with many distinct groups of internal stakeholders of various levels and support their work with clients. The Role We are seeking Junior and Senior level experienced and proactive ST/SIT Test Analysts to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through comprehensive testing activities. This position requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, a meticulous approach to testing, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Key Responsibilities: Test Requirements Analysis: Proactively engage with business users and project teams to thoroughly understand and analyse project requirements, translating them into clear, concise, and testable scenarios. User Story Development: Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to review detailed user stories, ensuring they are testable and accurately reflect business needs. Test Strategy & Planning: Be able to follow a comprehensive test strategy, approach and plan. Working closely with a test team across the System Testing (ST) and System Integration Testing (SIT) phases, aligning with project goals and timelines. Test Script Creation: Design, develop, and maintain robust and effective test scripts and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. Test Execution & Reporting: Execute test scripts diligently, record test results accurately, and provide clear, timely updates on testing progress and status to project stakeholders. Be able to identify and escalate areas of concern to the test lead/manager. Defect Management: Articulate defects clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results. Work closely with development teams to ensure defects are understood, prioritised, and resolved efficiently. Business Collaboration: Partner effectively with business users to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gather feedback, and ensure that the delivered solution meets their expectations and operational needs. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect logs, RAID Logs, and test summary reports. Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience as an ST/SIT Test Analyst in a complex project environment. Demonstrable experience in writing and refining user stories. Expertise in creating detailed and effective test scripts and test cases. Strong ability to execute test scripts and accurately record results. In-depth understanding of test requirements analysis and translation into testable scenarios. Excellent skills in articulating defects, including root cause analysis and impact assessment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand requirements and defects. Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Desirable Skills/Experience: Experience of Data Migration Forward flow testing Experience with Payroll comparison testing, use of Payroll comparison tools such as CompareEdge Proficiency with test management tools (Jira, ALM Quality Center). Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, UFT). Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts. Experience with performance testing or security testing. Li-remote
