Bring your skills to the mix as a Chief Civil Maritime Engineer, you will play a vital role in every aspect of maritime engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of maritime engineering, including Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development. We provide industry‑leading maritime solutions throughout the project lifecycle, delivering client‑side support and construction phases. Your role
* Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, at high‑quality levels.
* Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
* Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
* Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Set quality assurance standards in design.
* Grow, develop and manage civil engineering capability within the practice.
About You
* Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer.
* Experience owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, berthing and mooring of vessels and the transit of people and goods worldwide.
* Working experience with current UK and European design standards, including BS 6349.
