An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Operations Manager to lead the delivery of safe, compliant and value‑for‑money estates maintenance services across the Trust. Based at Scarborough Hospital, you will provide specialist technical leadership across mechanical, electrical and building/fabric infrastructure, managing in‑house teams and coordinating key specialist contractors to ensure high‑quality planned and reactive maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Lead day‑to‑day estates operations and maintenance strategy across mechanical, electrical and building/fabric services.
* Manage and develop in‑house maintenance teams and key specialist contractors, ensuring performance, quality and compliance.
* Oversee CAFM/asset registers, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, records and certification to support statutory and mandatory compliance.
* Support governance and assurance including audits, risk register updates, PAM/ERIC returns and contractor control (including permits to work).
* Contribute to budget management, procurement/contract compliance (SFIs) and delivery of minor works and improvement schemes.
* Participate in the Estates management on‑call rota, providing out‑of‑hours advice and support.
