Remuneration & Benefits
£45,000 – £50,000 + £17,500 bonus. Benefits include a car allowance and a full benefits package.
Role Responsibilities
* Sell a wide range of architectural aluminium products specializing in entrance door solutions, including automatic pedestrian doors and revolving doors.
* Spend 45% of time targeting supply and fit aluminium contractors, main contractors, shop fitters, door and screen contractors, aluminium fabricators and other building envelope related contractors.
* Spend 45% of time focusing on end‑user organisations within education, healthcare, retail and commercial sectors.
* Spend 10% of time winning specifications with architects.
* Inherit an area already achieving circa 80% of the target year‑to‑date.
* Manage an area with a turnover of circa £700,000.
* Allocate 60% of effort to new business development and 40% to account management.
* Work on projects up to £150,000.
* Promote very competitively priced door equipment.
Ideal Applicant
* Must understand the automatic door industry (doesn’t have to be a current role).
* Ideally has a field sales role.
* May be an engineer or service engineer seeking a first field sales role.
* May have technical field sales experience from other building envelope systems, such as façades, solar shading, architectural glazing, industrial doors, aluminium fabrication, cladding, curtain walling or window/door systems with strong allied customer contacts and experience.
* Must have sold to contractors such as aluminium fabricators, main contractors, builders, shop fitters, door and screen contractors, or end users within education, healthcare, retail and commercial.
* Has a tenacious new business attitude.
* Self‑sufficient, organized team player.
