Infrastructure Director (Civil Engineering) - Liverpool

We are seeking an Infrastructure Director to establish and lead a new Civil Engineering Infrastructure team in one of our offices: Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool or Newcastle. You will support the continued growth of a wide-ranging portfolio of clients across all sectors in the UK, promote the success of the Transport & Infrastructure Business through strategic decision-making, collaborate with key leads and directors, and oversee local operations to ensure long‑term business growth.
What Are We Looking For
* Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body, and minimum 12-15 years of post‑graduate experience.
* Proven and demonstrable work‑winning ability in a consultancy/private sector development environment.
* Commercially astute, identifying new opportunities and pursuing them to secure new business.
* Proven ability to contribute to business development strategies such as growth plans and process improvement.
* In‑depth knowledge of delivering civil engineering infrastructure for private and adaptive works for planning, tender and construction purposes.
* Excellent working knowledge of the legal, planning, technical consent, and adoption process and contract procedures for the design and implementation of civil infrastructure in new developments and regeneration projects.
* Personable, strong team player with a people‑oriented approach.
* Effective organisational and communication skills with a collaborative approach, enjoying responsibility.
* Proactive, strategic and analytical in approach to support clients’ requirements.
* Self‑motivated, open‑minded and enthusiastic with a "can‑do" attitude.
* Capable of working under pressure, managing own workload effectively, and supporting others when necessary and appropriate.
