We're seeking apassionate and proactive Sheltered Housing Officer to support our local social housing client across two of their sheltered schemes in South Liverpool.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality housing management services that focus on resident wellbeing, tenancy sustainment and schemepliance.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Daily welfare checks and responding to any emergency calls
2. Assist with viewings, lettings, sign-ups and inductions for new tenants
3. Maintain and update support plans and risk assessments
4. Conduct regular health and safety checks to ensure schemepliance, following up on any actions or identified issues
5. Provide tenancy sustainment advice, including support for low-level arrears
6. Handle general enquiries andplaints from residents and visitors
7. Assist with referrals for aids, adaptations and assistive technology
8. Ensure the scheme remains safe, secure and a weing environment
9. Promote resident engagement and social inclusion through activities
What you'll need to succeed
10. Experience in social housing, ideally with older or vulnerable residents
11. Strong understanding of housing legislation and best practice
12. Skilled inpleting assessments and developing support plans
13. Confident in crisis management and risk mitigation
14. Knowledge of welfare benefits and budgeting support
