Food & Beverage Assistant
MAIN DUTIES:
Responsible for set-up, maintenance and day to day operations of the food and beverage department. To assist and serve our customers with the requested food and beverage orders, ensuring service excellence and maximizes each sale opportunity for the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Follows all company policies and procedures, e.g., attendance, timekeeping, dress code, name badge, appearance.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of bar and dining areas, including serving food & drink, processing food orders, helping to set up & run events and keeping the front of house areas tidy.
* Serving customers by preparing tables, and serving food and beverages.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the Clubhouse environment.
* Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
* Utilise basic math skills for settling bills and setting up till tabs as required.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
* Confidently and professionally make dining reservations via walk in or telephone.
* Review daily bookings, functions sheets, table reservations etc.
* Effectively up sell items on menu, e.g.: appetisers, desserts, mixed drinks, wine, coffee, etc.
* Completes opening and closing procedures as per shift.
* Complies with KHGC personnel policies and procedures and health and safety procedures.
* To undertake any further duties as requested by the management.
