This Group Reporting Manager opportunity would ideally suit a practice-trained ACA/ACCA accountant who has gained industry experience and is now looking for the next step in their career.
The role will involve responsibility for statutory reporting, month-end management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting acquisitions and audit processes across the group. The successful candidate will also play a key role in reviewing controls, improving procedures, and supporting the wider finance function.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Producing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
* Managing the month-end close process and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting acquisitions including purchase price accounting and goodwill reviews
* Assisting with interim and year-end audit requirements
* Reviewing and improving financial controls and finance processes
* Managing and developing junior finance team members
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge and previous experience within a practice environment.
