Role Overview:
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in managing the contractual and employment aspects of the workforce. This role requires a deep understanding of European regulations and laws, extensive experience with people data management, and a background in handling employee migrations across countries and contracts. Your expertise in the construction industry will be crucial in supporting the business objectives and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the contractual and employment side of HR, ensuring seamless transitions from recruitment to onboarding.
* Manage and maintain accurate people data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
* Handle the migration process for candidates moving between countries and transitioning to new employment contracts.
* Stay updated and ensure compliance with European regulations and employment laws.
* Provide strategic HR support and guidance to senior management on all employment-related matters.
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and legal requirements.
* Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in HR with a focus on contractual and employment matters.
* In-depth knowledge of European employment regulations and laws.
* Proven experience managing people data and ensuring data protection compliance.
* Experience with employee migration, including international relocations and new employment contracts.
* Background in the construction industry in a similar role.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work on-site in Newry, 5 days a week.
