Welding Lecturer
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a full-time Welding and Fabrications Lecturer to work at a College in Hull, starting from 1st September 2025, with an indefinite duration. The position is ideally a temporary-to-permanent role, with the successful candidate initially working on a supply basis for 12 weeks before transferring to a permanent contract. Both full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time (2 days per week) positions are available. Compensation ranges from £20 to £40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
This role involves teaching welding skills to apprentices and BTEC Level 2 and 3 students. Candidates with relevant industry experience up to Level 3 or above are encouraged to apply. The College is open to applicants holding a Level 3 qualification in Welding/Fabrication, even if they lack teaching experience, as they are willing to support candidates through their teaching qualifications.
The college is located in Hull, easily accessible by bus, with onsite parking available. There is also a nearby low-cost parking option that can be reimbursed. As a vocational hub with a strong local reputation, the college offers a supportive environment for professional development.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in Welding/Fabrication
* Have experience teaching Welding (preferred but not essential)
* Have an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable), and professional references
* Provide a full CV history
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
