A fantastic opportunity to join the Mitie and Marks & Spencer family in a highly valued Elite Support role.
We are seeking a professional, flexible, and reliable Elite Support Officer to provide exceptional security support across three Marks & Spencer Distribution Centre locations in Scotland, including Glasgow.
In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for colleagues, visitors, and contractors, while protecting company assets and ensuring a consistently high standard of service across all sites. You must be confident working across different locations and available for short-notice deployments, including days, nights, and weekends.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality security cover across three M&S Distribution Centre locations in Scotland.
2. Deliver excellent customer service and uphold Mitie and M&S key values at all times.
3. Maintain professional standards of appearance, communication, and incident reporting.
4. Operate and monitor access control systems, CCTV, and vehicle movements in line with site procedures.
5. Conduct thorough internal and external patrols to maintain site integrity and safety.
6. Assist with preventing and investigating theft, stock loss, and security breaches.
7. Respond effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, following all site protocols.
8. Support permanent site teams and site management to ensure safe and compliant operations.
9. Work flexibly, including short-notice cover, to meet operational demands.
10. Follow all company policies relating to security, confidentiality, and Health & Safety.
Person Specification
✅ Literate, numerate, and detail-focused
✅ Professional appearance and excellent conduct
✅ Reliable, adaptable, and confident across multiple sites
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Able to remain calm and composed under pressure
✅ Positive, proactive “can-do” attitude
✅ Must hold a valid front-line SIA Licence
✅ Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
