Are you passionate about technology, finance, and high-growth businesses? We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to join an expanding team .
As an M&A Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting transaction execution and strategic advisory projects across the technology sector. You will work closely with senior dealmakers, investors, founders, and corporate clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct financial analysis, valuation modelling, and market research
2. Prepare investment memoranda, pitch decks, and client presentations
3. Support buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
4. Analyse technology market trends and competitive landscapes
5. Assist with due diligence coordination and data room management
6. Build and maintain financial models including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analysis
7. Engage with clients, investors, and legal/accounting advisers during live transactions
Skills and experience
8. Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
9. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
10. Excellent Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
11. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
12. Commercial interest in the technology sector
13. Strong communication and presentation abilities
14. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Desirable
15. Previous experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or transaction services
16. Exposure to SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, fintech, or digital platforms
17. ACA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or studying towards)
