Hours: circa 48 hours per week - 5 days out of 7 based on your rota, must be flexible to work on weekends and bank holidays
Location: Market Weighton/ Howden area
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour which goes up after training is completed to £14.00 per hour

Role Overview: As a Production Supervisor you will assist the Production Manager with daily fresh produce collection, ensuring efficiency and product quality. Oversee team performance and step in during the manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities:
Organise labor resources for optimal production.
Ensure compliance with Hygiene, Health & Safety, and HACCP standards.
Maintain quality standards for weight, sizing, and packaging.
Monitor and meet production KPIs.
Motivate and manage the team, fostering a positive work environment.
Provide training on best practices and safety.
Ensure accurate records and timely communication of updates.
Collaborate across departments for improved efficiency.
Conduct daily quality checks and ensure consistent standards.
Manage staffing levels and update forecasts for the next day.
Address team performance issues as needed.
Daily Tasks:
Review work plans and allocated areas before shifts.
Communicate harvesting priorities clearly.
Oversee quality throughout the day.
Adjust workflow and provide feedback as necessary.
Conduct final checks and collect tools at the end of the day.
Required Experience:
Supervisory experience in a fresh produce environment.
Strong organisational, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility for weekend and bank holiday shifts.
Desirable Experience:
Continuous Improvement experience.
Experience in the fresh produce industry.
Required Qualifications:
Basic Food Hygiene qualification.
HACCP training (desirable).
