Responsibilities
* Underwrite a high volume of construction and liability business, with premiums ranging from circa £3,000 up to £100,000.
* Assess risks, determine policy terms and pricing, and build strong relationships with brokers and insurer partners.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years’ underwriting experience within construction/liability business
* Strong technical underwriting knowledge and understanding of policy wordings
* Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy workload
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience handling high-risk or hard-to-place business and existing broker relationships (advantageous but not essential)
