Traffic Engineer

Are you an experienced Traffic Engineer looking for your next contract assignment? My client based in the Bristol area is looking for a Traffic Engineer on an initial 6-month contract. The main responsibilities of the role are:
1. Prepare outline designs and estimates for traffic management solutions
2. Ensure prompt responses to enquiries and correspondence from various stakeholders
3. Promote safe working practices and comply with H&S policies and procedures
4. Take the role of Stakeholder Manager by preparing reports and attending meetings
5. Maintain and further develop relationships with elected members and other stakeholders


REQUIREMENTS:

1. Educated to degree standard or equivalent and a professional qualification in an appropriate discipline with considerable relevant experience and Chartered or Incorporated Membership of an appropriate Institution
2. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a wide range of individuals and groups
3. In-depth knowledge of the legislation associated with lining, signing, and traffic management relevant legislation
