Role Overview
This position provides an exciting opportunity for a product-focused Full Stack Developer to work in a dynamic and growing software environment. At Locate a Locum we are on a mission to simplify recruitment through the use of efficient technology. Due to ongoing growth within the Product Development Team we are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to join our growing team and contribute to the architecture and delivery of strategic projects across our web and mobile platform. You will work with some of the latest frameworks and languages such as NodeJS, React, React‑Native, Java 8.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, QA, project managers and customers to build out features for the platform.
* Produce clean, efficient code to deliver solutions on every layer of the platform's stack - API backend, Web UI and Mobile.
* Foster a program of work that's centered around culture and help create a team that's fun, open, considerate, respectful and above all passionate.
* Contribute to the ever-evolving development strategies and processes that Locate a Locum employs.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
* The confidence to share your opinion and the respect to listen to others.
* Experience with server-side technologies such as Java, Spring and NodeJS.
* Experience with modern UI build systems such as Webpack, Rollup, Parcel or Gulp.
* Experience with cloud-based CI/CD pipelines such as Heroku, TravisCI, CircleCI or Jenkins.
* Experience with cloud-based hosting infrastructure such as AWS, GCP or Microsoft Azure.
* Good knowledge of design patterns for RESTful APIs and ability to integrate them with third‑party APIs or services.
* The desire to work in and nurture an Agile environment.
