Senior Care Worker – AV1829A
Location: Ancoats, Manchester. Hours: Averaging 39 hours a week over an 8‑week rota. Pay: £14.61 per hour. Our client is an independent charity with a rich heritage since 1963 and has an ‘Outstanding’ CQC Report in all 5 areas of inspection since 2016.
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Worker to join our purpose‑built Residential Care home supporting 41 male residents living with Korsakoff’s syndrome, alcohol‑related brain damage, and other complex mental health conditions. The role supports high‑quality, person‑centred care that promotes dignity, independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
* Provide person‑centred care to residents, supporting their daily living and wellbeing.
* Order, administer, audit and return medication in a residential care setting.
* Support residents with complex mental health needs.
* Collaborate with a multi‑professional team to plan and review care plans.
* Maintain accurate records within the trust procedures.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Senior Care Worker or similar senior role within a residential care home.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Experience with medication administration and audit processes.
* Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
