Through effective decontamination, the post holder will have responsibility for ensuring that ambulances, equipment and consumables are in a state of immediate readiness.
The post holder will prepare ambulances for operational duty to an agreed quality standard for the safety and wellbeing of NIAS Staff and Patients. This will include cleaning, decontaminating, re- stocking, vehicle roadworthiness checks and safety/functional checks of onboard equipment (medical and non-medical). The role may involve shift working including at night and weekends.
