About the Role
dhBorders Recruitment is currently seeking two skilled CNC Engineers to join a well-established engineering company in the Coldstream area.
Key Responsibilities
1. Set, operate, and program CNC machines (Fanuc controls – Doosan lathes, Haas mills, Star GB).
2. Manufacture bespoke and standard components to tight tolerances.
3. Improve CNC programs, tooling, and jigs to enhance production efficiency.
4. Maintain machinery, ensuring oil and coolant levels are correct.
5. Check quality of parts, complete paperwork, and follow company H&S procedures.
6. Support less experienced engineers and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Requirements
7. Proven CNC machining experience using Fanuc controls.
8. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
9. Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
10. Able to work independently and meet production targets.
Desirable: Apprentice-trained, offline programming or CAD/CAM experience.
