As an experienced cook, you will previously have worked in a bust and fast paced kitchen environment. You will enjoy working part of a team whilst understanding that taking direction and using your own initiative are an integral part of your role. we are a Learning and development centre based in Aintree - close to the racecourse and we provide specialist catering facilities 5 days a week for clients, hospitality and functions and events .
You will be a cook that loves cooking, enjoys a variety of kitchen responsibilities, is great with people, working as part of a small team but understands time constraints and loves working to time scales.
What you'll do:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals to high standards.
Ensure food safety and hygiene are adhered to.
Work as part of a close team
Support the chef in prep and cleanliness
Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly.
Interact with customers and colleagues in a professional, friendly manner.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
A genuine passion for food and quality.
Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to standards.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
