Job Description
The In‑House Legal Counsel will be:
3. Leading, negotiating and drafting purchase, sale, distribution and service contracts across the Middle East.
4. Advising on and executing market entry into new jurisdictions: researching regulatory regimes, establishing legal entities, ensuring corporate maintenance.
5. Overseeing public procurement matters and ensuring compliance with local bid regulations across MEA.
6. Managing distribution/service agreements, supply‑chain legal risks and third‑party relationships.
7. Coordinating with local counsel in relevant countries to support in commercial, dispute resolution, and regulatory investigations.
8. Providing strategic legal input to senior regional leadership on risk, compliance and growth initiatives.
9. Maintaining corporate governance, entity management and legal filings for jurisdictions across MEA.
10. Supporting internal stakeholders (sales, operations, commercial) with legal advice to drive business outcomes while mitigating risk.
The Successful Applicant
The In‑House Legal Counsel should be:
11. A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years' PQE (post‑qualification experience) in corporate/commercial law.
12. Arabic fluent (speaking and writing) and comfortable operating across the Middle East.
13. Familiarity with MEA region regulatory environments, or at least exposure to working with local counsel in those jurisdictions.
14. Strong contract drafting, negotiation and commercial legal skills (distribution, service, procurement).
15. Experience of establishing entities, managing international corporate maintenance and local regulatory entry.
16. Comfortable with dispute resolution strategy and coordinating with external counsel.
