Job Description:
We are looking to recruit a Secondary Janitor at Uddingston Grammar School. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing all documentation related to the janitorial and cleaning functions within the premises.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring grounds are kept in a safe and tidy condition, free from dangerous articles, ensuring health and safety of staff and visitors.
2. Monitoring the activities of lessees and contractors, reporting issues to the line manager.
3. Logging, monitoring, and reporting all damage and faults related to fabric and fixtures.
4. Liaising with external contractors and lessees, ensuring adherence to health and safety and security procedures.
5. Communicating effectively with the Facilities Manager, Head of Establishment/Lessee’s, and team members to meet customer needs daily.
