About the Role
The Technical Support Representative sits within our Customer Service team. The role handles calls and queries from audiology professionals and consumers seeking help on their technical issues. These queries could involve hearing devices, accessories, wireless connectivity, product training, and policy clarification. This role communicates with customers using various platforms, mainly phone and email and most support is guided remotely.
This role helps customers with passion, purpose, and excellence supported by company and product guidance.
Responsibilities
* Provide a positive and personalised service to exceed consumer expectations and resolve our customers technical questions and queries
* Adapting your communication to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds, values, and knowledge of Starkey products - to make sure information is accessible and easily understood
* Attend regional or corporate face to face training sessions - for example pre-product releases
* Actively listen to what our customers need to best understand the challenges or concerns and proactively support them with care
* Demonstrate awareness of consumer’s needs and goals
* Understand and learn the technology, systems and products we use and create at Starkey to be able to best guide and inform our customers
Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of technical support or audiology
Required Skills
* Experience with Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems and hardware knowledge and experience
* Experience working in a customer service environment
* Experience working with hearing aid technology or an within an audiology environment
* A high degree of computer literacy including Windows OS, MS Office, MS Outlook,

The Opportunity
This is an incredible role working within a strong team with flexibility to support a range of customers and internal teams. The role would be hybrid working with some days on site here in Stockport, and flexibility for remote/home working.
It comes with 25 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays.
