Here at VMO2 we are currently on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Anaplan Model Builder to join us a on a 12 month Fixed Term contract, working within the Planning Team. The Planning team are on a mission to transform planning and forecasting processes through building connected, innovative, driver-based planning capability within Anaplan!
These Anaplan models will enhance forecast accuracy, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive business alignment, consistency, and efficiency. They will equip team members with insightful projections of future outcomes and a clearer understanding of the performance drivers behind key business KPIs across the company's P&L. Empowering stakeholders with self-service analytics, these models enable data-driven decision-making to enhance business value and performance, ultimately accelerating growth!
The selected candidate will be responsible for;
* Designing, building, and optimising scalable Anaplan models aligned with best practices and business objectives.
* Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and deliver effective, driver-based planning solutions.
* Ensuring models are intuitive, user-friendly, and support data-driven decision-making through self-service analytics.
* Managing seamless data integration between Anaplan and external systems, while continuously improving model performance.
* Contributing to the Anaplan Centre of Enablement (C4E) by sharing knowledge, promoting innovation, and supporting agile delivery practices.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
6. Strong exposure building and enhancing Anaplan models, tailored to specific needs
7. Proven track record of optimally driving digital transformation at pace in a multi-functional environment
8. Solid data modelling skills with 2-3 years’ experience building driver-based planning and forecasting models in Anaplan, ideally with volume/revenue focus
9. Proven skills in manipulating data using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, and distilling the information into useful insight to guide operational or commercial change
10. A consistent record in communicating analysis and design options to senior stakeholders to guide business decisions
11. Ability to work successfully within a cross-functional environment to develop and deliver solutions that unlock business value
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
12. Experience in promoting and maximising the value of agile ways of working
13. Preferred: completed Anaplan Model Builder L1-3 Certifications
14. Preferred: basic knowledge of other tooling such as Tableau, Atlan, GCP and DBT
