Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive school community in Lancing this September. This full-time, long-term SEN TA role is perfect for someone with a background in supporting students with additional learning needs and a passion for creating a meaningful impact in their education.
Responsibilities as a SEN TA:
Provide one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual pupil needs.
Assist teachers in delivering specialised learning activities.
Support behaviour management and encourage positive social interactions.
Help monitor and record pupil progress and wellbeing.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to meet pupil goals.
Requirements for SEN TA:
Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
