About us
Advanced Electric Machines (AEM), part of the Advanced Electric Machines Group, was formed in November 2016 as a spin out from Newcastle University.
Fast forward to 2025, AEM has worked with industry partners, vehicle manufacturers (globally) and academics to develop the most sustainable & highest performing powertrain solutions for electric vehicles across various industries. Most recently, AEM have secured a 7 figure investment from a leading global car-parts supplier.
