Our care team works together to make sure our patients receive quality, customized care. Our state-of-the-art medical center is well-equipped to provide preventative care, as well as treat and manage short and long-term illnesses. We also offer x-ray and laboratory services on-site for our family practice patients, so they can get the care they need in one central location.
About the Job:
The Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist performs venipuncture and provides direct patient care to patients of Pepperell Family Practice while prioritizing all routine, timed, and stat draws. Tasks include patient registration, test ordering, and phlebotomy.
What You'll Do:
* Performs venipuncture using proper technique.
* Complies with phlebotomy protocols and demonstrates proper collection techniques.
* Maintains competency in all phlebotomy procedures and protocols.
* Maintains a working knowledge of the laboratory and laboratory issues through consistent procedure review.
* Orders lab supplies, stocks lab work area, and reviews supplies regularly for soon-to-expire or expired materials.
Who You Are:
* High School diploma or GED required.
* Graduation from a Phlebotomy Certification program.
* Phlebotomy Certification preferred
* A minimum of one-three years of Laboratory experience preferred.

Work Shift:
Per Diem (7:30 am to 4 pm when needed)
