As the Retail Systems Support, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the development of all retail equipment, databases, and processes within GTR.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
1. Maintaining all retail systems effectively and ensuring accurate reporting for management when issues occur.
2. Participating in the product development process to ensure new products can be effectively integrated into our retail systems.
3. Providing support as a technical expert on retail applications and processes.
4. Supporting testing of new software developments for station retail equipment to ensure compatibility.
5. Representing GTR in meetings with other TOCs or suppliers and recording meeting details and action points.
6. Administering GTR retail systems, databases, and tools to keep them current and updated, and supporting retail-related processes developed by other departments.
7. Communicating relevant information to facilitate retail operations and providing technical support.
8. Managing assigned stations, completing audits, and assisting stations with TIS, gates, and validators.
9. Reporting issues outside fingertip maintenance promptly to relevant suppliers.
10. Providing training to staff across TIS as needed.
11. Completing additional tasks as directed by your manager to meet company needs.
12. Developing personal skills and knowledge for effective performance.
