The Role As a key member of Horizon’s Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of housing, customer and tenancy sustainment services. Through Lead Officers, you will ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining a strong focus on performance, compliance, customer experience and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Providing strategic leadership across housing and customer services to deliver high-quality, customer-focused and value-for-money outcomes. Ensuring effective governance, performance and financial management, with compliance to regulatory and legal requirements. Driving continuous improvement through customer feedback, insight and service evaluation. Supporting delivery of Horizon’s Business Plan while promoting collaboration, accountability and customer focus across the organisation. About You You will be an experienced housing professional with a relevant qualification (such as CIH) and a commitment to continuous professional development. You will have: Significant experience leading high-performing teams and delivering excellent housing services within a social housing environment. Strategic or senior operational experience across key housing functions including income management, voids, estate management and tenancy sustainment. Experience of governance, regulatory compliance and assurance processes. Strong financial management skills, including budget management, rent setting and income strategies. A collaborative leadership style and experience building effective partnerships. Experience of tenant participation, consultation and using customer insight to improve services. A strong understanding of the Scottish Social Housing Charter, the wider housing sector and current challenges. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use performance data to inform strategic decision-making. Strong digital awareness and experience of using systems and data to improve service delivery. A full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel to meet business needs, is required.
