Job description
Working in our local community for an “Outstanding” rated care provider.
Roles for female care workers with a car.
Wages: £13.40 / £14.10 per hour (during probation), £13.95 - £14.80 per hour after probation, PLUS Mileage (45p per mile). Rates increase on weekends (post probation - usually 3 months)
We pay a guaranteed 16 hours per week for those with full availability.
We are members of the “Real Living Wage Foundation”.
Flexible hours available and negotiable.
We are recruiting female care workers with access to a car and with a UK driving license.
Full-time availability including weekends desirable. Full availability means 16 hours per week guaranteed, 30 hours (average) per week expected.
Sunderland and surrounding areas.

About the role
Our Care Assistants provide support to our clients, in their own homes by assisting with:
* Support with medication
* Personal care requirements like showering, incontinence needs, or getting ready for the day
* Grocery shopping and meal preparation
* Outings, activities, errands
* Light household cleaning and domestic assistance
What you will need
* A willingness to learn
* A reliable nature
* A flexible approach to your working pattern
* You will need full driving licence, with access to your own vehicle to apply for the role.
Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9
