The Role
Holland & Barrett seeks a Compliance Administrator to support food safety and quality at our Burton Manufacturing site. You will manage complaints and returned samples, maintain accurate QMS documentation, and produce KPI reports to drive continuous improvement. Working closely with the Product Integrity team, you'll ensure regulatory adherence (BRC, HACCP, GMP), assist with audits, and streamline compliance processes. Key Responsibilities:
* Log and manage customer/internal complaints; coordinate investigations and corrective actions.
* Oversee returned sample receipt, logging, storage, and documentation for investigations.
* Compile, maintain, and analyse compliance, quality, and food-safety KPIs.
* Maintain QMS documentation: review, version-control, and ensure accessibility for SOPs and protocols.
* Assist with internal/external audit preparations; keep records audit-ready.
* Support adherence to BRC, HACCP, GMP, and customer compliance; aid supplier/customer audits.
* Identify compliance gaps; help implement process improvements and digital solutions.
* Coordinate team meetings, manage training records, and maintain compliance databases.
Location: This role is based onsite at our Burton Distribution Centre, Monday - Friday
The Person
* Experience in an administrative or compliance role within food manufacturing.
* Solid knowledge of QMS, document control, and food-safety frameworks (BRC, HACCP, GMP).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and KPI tracking/reporting.
* Experience handling complaints, returned samples, and audit support.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
* Strong analytical skills; capable of trend analysis and data-driven insights.
* Excellent communication and teamwork; liaise effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
