Field Sales Executive - Engineering Job Overview
Field Sales Executive required for a manufacturer of mechanical and electrical products based in the Watford area. The successful candidate will be building new business and maintaining relationships within mechanical and electrical engineering parts. You will work closely with one other sales executive or 4 members of the internal sales team along with the technical support team.
Responsibilities
* Prospecting phone calls
* Customer web sales meetings
* Making appointments and on-site visits for key opportunities
* Acquiring new customers
* Expanding existing business
* Following up quotes
* Maintaining customer relationships
* Understanding and educating the company about customer needs and market developments
* Identifying new product opportunities
Requirements
* Technical sales experience
* Telephone and web meeting sales experience
* On-site visit sales experience
* Negotiation of sales offers
* Good reporting skills
* High productivity levels
* Good sales and communication skills
* Tenacious pursuit of new business
* Computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel
* Must be motivated and pro‑active
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: Circa £35,000
* Bonus paid as a fixed sum per year
