My client is looking for a talented and ambitious Sous Chef to join the Head Chef in delivering a great dining experience for their guests.
About the Role As Sous Chef, youll play a key role in the daily running of a high-quality, fresh-food kitchen. Youll assist in menu development and lead the team in the Head Chefs absence. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, hands-on chef who thrives in a professional yet friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and service.
Lead, train, and inspire a small, dedicated kitchen brigade.
Assist with menu planning, cost control, and stock management.
Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Ensure full compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture that values growth and respect.
About You Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a quality, fresh-food environment.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
A passion for local, seasonal ingredients and creative presentation.
Calm under pressure, with an eye for detail and consistency.
